Customers are not earning points for purchasing

If customers are not receiving points after placing an order, there are two settings you should check in your BLOY Rewards Program.


Check if customers are required to sign up before earning points

Go to Rewards Program > Point settings and look for the option Earning behavior:

  • If this box is checked:

Customers must sign up or log in before placing an order to earn points.

Orders placed as guests will not qualify for points.

  • If you want customers to earn points even without signing up:

Simply uncheck this option.




Check the order status required to earn points

Go to Rewards Program > Ways to earn > Make a purchase and review the Points withdrawal setting:

You can choose one of the following conditions:

  • Reward your customers when the order status is Paid
  • Reward your customers when the order status is Fulfilled


Customers will only earn points after the order reaches the selected status in Shopify:

  • If set to Paid, the order must be marked as Paid.
  • If set to Fulfilled, the order must be Fulfilled before points are added.

If the order has not yet reached the required status, points will not be issued.
