Gorgias integration
Gorgias is a customer support platform built to help ecommerce teams deliver fast, personalized service. Integrate Gorgias with BLOY Loyalty to elevate your customer support by effortlessly accessing loyalty data from tickets and customer profiles.
When you integrate Gorgias with BLOY Loyalty, you can:
- View loyalty points balance, VIP tier, referral link, and other loyalty details directly in Gorgias.
- Insert customer loyalty information directly in the ticket with macros.
How to connect BLOY with Gorgias
- In the BLOY app, go to Integrations > Gorgias > Integrate, fill in your subdomain here, then switch the status to On and click Connect.
- After connecting to the Gorgias, users will be require to authorize BLOY to access the Gorgias accounts. Please select Authorize unapproved app to enable the integration.
- In the Gorgias app, go to Reconnect from the left sidebar. If you already have an account, enter your subdomain in the input field and click Find my account. If you don’t have an account yet, create one first.
- The toast Integration successfully added means BLOY has successfully integrated and synced data with Gorgias.
How the integration works
Once connected, the integration:
- Synchronizes customer loyalty data to Gorgias:
- Points balance
- VIP tier status
- Referral URL
- (Potentially others like email or phone, depending on your loyalty setup)
- Displays a loyalty widget in:
- The ticket sidebar
- Customer profile pages
This makes it easy to view or act on loyalty info while handling support tickets.
Use case 1: Displaying the Loyalty data in Gorgias
The loyalty will automatically be displayed in the tickets and customer profiles
Use case 2: Customize the widget
Go to the Customers, then select a specific customers. Click ⚙️ (Edit widgets) at the top right of the sidebar to access the edit mode.
You can customize:
- Add or delete the widget
- Change the border color of the widget
- Change the title of the widget
- Change the icon of the widget
- Rename and delete attributes from the widget
Use case 3: Insert customer loyalty information in tickets
BLOY generates customer loyalty information as variables, allowing you to create macros for repeated use or insert them directly into tickets.
