How does point expiry work?
BLOY allows you to set an expiration period for points based on customer inactivity.
What does “inactivity” mean?
Inactivity means the customer has no point-related activity during a period of time.
Any action that adds or deducts points is considered activity, including:
- Earning points through Ways to Earn
- Redeeming points through Ways to Redeem
- Manual point adjustments made by an admin
In short, if an action affects the customer’s point balance, it counts as activity.

When do points expire?
If a customer has no qualifying activity for X months, their entire point balance will expire at once.
The value of X (number of months) is configured by the merchant in the point expiry settings.
What happens if the customer becomes active again?
If the customer performs any qualifying activity before the inactivity period ends, the expiry timer is reset.
As long as the customer remains active, their points will not expire.
