Importing loyalty data from another loyalty program
If you’re migrating from another loyalty program, you can import your customers’ existing loyalty data into BLOY to ensure a smooth transition. Currently, BLOY supports importing points and VIP tiers for existing customers.
What You Need
To import loyalty points, your CSV file must include the following required fields:
- points
If you are importing VIP tiers, your file must include:
- tier
How the import works
- Points: Imported points will overwrite the customer’s current point balance. Points are not duplicated or added on top.
- VIP tiers: Importing VIP tiers only updates tiers for existing customers. Customers will not be moved to a lower tier.
How to Import
- From the BLOY Dashboard, go to Customers.
- Click Import customers.

- Upload your CSV file.
- Make sure your file follows the same format as our sample file.
Once the import is complete, you will receive an email notification.
After the Import
We recommend reviewing a few customer records to confirm that:
- Point balances match your CSV file
- VIP tiers were updated as expected
This helps ensure all loyalty data was applied correctly.
