Omnisend integration

Omnisend is an all-in-one ecommerce marketing automation platform designed to help businesses drive more revenue through personalized, automated campaigns. It supports email, SMS, web push notifications, and automation workflows, allowing you to engage customers at every step of their journey.

By integrating your loyalty app with Omnisend, you can:

  • Send targeted messages based on loyalty points and tiers
  • Trigger automation flows for referrals, redemptions, or VIP upgrades
  • Build segments using loyalty-specific properties like points balance or VIP status

Here are the steps to utilize the integration:

Step 1: How to get an API key

Visit the Omnisend app to obtain your API key. Please check out this detailed guide: https://support.omnisend.com/en/articles/1061890-generating-api-key

Ensuring your API key has 'Full Access' or at least the following scopes:

  • Contacts
  • Events
  • Campaigns
  • Automations


Step 2: Connect to Omnisend

From the BLOY Loyalty app, go to Integrations > Omnisend integration. Enable the feature and enter your API key in the Connect to Omnisend section, then click Connect.



If the button says Connected, it means BLOY has successfully connected to Omnisend.

How the integration works

The integration performs two key functions:

  1. Synchronize contacts
  2. Trigger Events

  • When a customer joins the loyalty program and becomes a member
  • When a customer earn points through various actions
  • When a customer redeem points for discounts

Use case 1: Manage profiles with loyalty program

After connecting, BLOY profiles will be synchronized with your Omnisend profiles. Based on BLOY properties, you can create Segments in Omnisend.


You can also monitor customer activities during events.


Use case 2: Send notifications automatically with Omnisend
